About Me

Wilfred has been practicing law since 1996. From 1997 to 2001, he was a lawyer at the Central Bureau Legal and General Affairs. He then spent 6 years at ING Trust as commercial and legal director.

Professional Highlights

Wilfred was secretary of the committee revision and modernization of the law on legal entities in the Netherlands Antilles and secretary of the evaluation committee Book 2 Civil Code. He was also chairman of the Supervisory Board of the University of Curaçao (formerly the University of the Netherlands Antilles). He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Corporate Law, established by the government of Curaçao and a member of the Council of Advice Curaçao.

Eric Kleist

About Me

Eric studied economics at the University of Amsterdam and law at the Open University. In 2008 he was registered as lawyer at the Bar of the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and of Bonaire, Saint Eustatius and Saba. Before that Eric worked at the Central Bank of the Netherlands Antilles and commercial banks in economic en legal functions.

Professional Highlights

From 1992 to 2014 he was a part-time lecturer in Law and Economics at the University of Curaçao (formerly the University of the Netherlands Antilles). Given his financial and economic background, Eric specializes in financial and economic criminal law, financial-economic and banking law, insolvency law and corporate law.
